About Us

Our Mission

Our mission is to bridge the gap between high-school classrooms and competitive physics by creating a free and accessible resource for physics students of all levels to practice problems and steadily progress.

Our Story

It all started from the Alcumus platform for competition math practice that was created and curated by The Art of Problem Solving (AOPS) site. Although we have grown to become more unique and collaborative since our inception, Alcumus by AOPS was and still is the impetus and inspiration for our project.

Where AOPS provided inspiration, the Physics Olympiad Discord Server (PhODS) provided means. This is where the project was first proposed and where all the original team members got in contact. We truly owe a debt of gratitude to PhODS and the role it played in this project’s development.

As we began working together, we compared how each of us had gotten involved in Physics Olympiad and realized that there was no common path to competition physics. This ultimately led to our current mission of using our platform to increase involvement in the physics contests we have enjoyed so much.
